Positive Minds; Education Year 2 Launch

The Mental Health Project are excited to be beginning our Positive Minds; Education on Monday 5th November (finishing  at some schools on Monday 17th December). Positive Minds are 1-hour Mental Health focused interactive workshops designed for Year 6 and Year 9 students.


We will be delivering at the following Watford Schools:

  • The Reach Free School – Year 9

  • Bushey Meads – Year 9

  • Beechfield School – Year 6

  • Nascott Wood School – Year 6

  • Laurence Haines School – Year 6

  • Cherry Tree School – Year 6

  • Bushey Manor School – Year 6

  • Holywell School – Year 6

  • Chater School – Year 6

  • St Catherine of Sienna School – Year 6

  • Tanners Wood School – Year 6

  • Bromet School – Year 6

Over the 6 weeks our sessions will focus on:

  • Resilience (coping strategies)

  • Body image; different shapes and sizes

  • Online safety and social media

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Building positive relationships

  • Consolidating learning, growth mind-set and the future

All the facilitators and projects leads are looking forward to delivering the sessions and working alongside all the schools.
