Codicote FC

Wednesday 11th March 2020 - 7:30-9:30pm - John Clements Sports & Community Centre, Hitchin, SG4 8XY

A free 3-hour training course designed to upskill coaches and those in contact with the target audience about mental health in a sporting environment which will be delivered across West Hertfordshire. The course will be looking at educating grassroot sports coaches around Mental Health, different diagnosis, statistics, solutions and how best to support through various resources and outlet.

We are aiming to deliver to 60 coaches across 3 sessions in the Pilot Year with a further 27 Sessions by December 2020 with 20 coaches attending per session. In August 2018 we began to develop the program and start to contact grassroot sport clubs and sporting partners regarding running the 3 sessions in late 2018.
